Casamonti at Palazzo San Giorgio: planning a visit

Palazzo San Giorgio, Lungarno Serristori 17, is the address now listed by Collezione Casamonti for visits. Public opening was announced for 28 September 2026. The new display brings together around 250 works across 28 rooms, from the late nineteenth century to contemporary art: an option for spending part of your stay with modern art, even if you already know Florence’s major museums.

Published opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10am–7pm without a midday closure; last admission is at 6:15pm. The listed full-price ticket is €15. Recheck the official page before visiting.

We suggest choosing a few works and taking time to examine their materials and scale, then comparing pieces in subsequent rooms. There is no need to turn the route into a checklist of famous names: following a question or a technique may be more rewarding.
